Taylor Swift once promised that if she ever sold two million copies of an album, she would get a tattoo on her foot. So when Taylor found out that she had indeed hit the two-million mark, it posed a dilemma: She’s no longer sure she really wants to get the tattoo.
“I heard that it really hurts when you get one on your foot,” she told Dial-Global, “and I made that goal, and I never thought I would actually get a double-platinum record. I don’t know if I’m gonna get it or not.”
Adding to her confusion, Taylor — who still lives with her parents — has been getting conflicting advice from her mom and dad.
“I’m trying to figure out if that compromises being a role model or not,” she said. “My mom says it doesn’t; my dad says it does. So I’m just trying to figure out what to do.”
In the meantime, Taylor’s career keeps rolling along. She’s now had music streamed through her MySpace page more than 40 million times. Her album is at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart for the 15th straight week, and her new single, “Picture To Burn,” is already in the Top 20. She’s shooting a video for the song in Nashville today and tomorrow.

She doesn’t have a real, permanent tatto on her foot, it’s just a little tatto you can buy at the store, or it’s sticker or drawing!

I think that taylor should just do what she wants to do. Most kids have already thought that the tattoo was really anyway. But i have heard that a tattoo on your foot does really hurt but if you want it bad enough then it would be worth it. You would only sit in that tattoo chair for a max ten mins and the tattoo would last a lifetime. I have a breast cancer awarness ribbon with a B on each side of it for my G-Ma(it is her initials) my tat only took five mins and it was over. I wont tell you that it didn’t hurt because it did, but i would do all over again. In fact i am goin to get a tat on my foot, on my other wrist, and on the back of my neck. Now as you can tell THEY R ADDICTING, but they r hot too!
